The 3 growers (Robert JS Doig at Glenfarg, James Haggart & Sons from Muthill and J & E Smillie in Perth), are responsible for all Caithness production.

The 3 grower/directors have enormous experience and expertise in seed production, and all crop husbandry decisions lie with them.

Each is an approved VTSC raiser (the highest possible standard) and have represented the potato industry at the highest levels with 2 directors having been past presidents of the Scottish Potato Trade Association (SPTA) and one director currently a council member of the British Potato Council (BPC).
