Under the banner of Caithness potatoes lie several companies, all of which complement each other in performing the many objectives of the business.

There is of course Caithness Potato Breeders ( CPB ) which restricts itself to supplying the new genetics and administering the Plant Variety Rights in the many countries Caithness now operates in.

Caithness Potatoes Ltd ( CPL ) produces all the seeds, and does all the UK marketing. Caithness Potato Exports Ltd ( CPEL ) performs many of the marketing and administrative export tasks.

There are additional structures, Caithness Classified Crops ( CCC ) which oversees complementary seed production which occurs in the UK outside Scotland and Caithness Potato Technology Inc ( CPT ) which was formed to develop Caithness genetics in North America.
